Who Picks Up the Phone

After you send a request or make a call, a local provider from our network takes it from there. These are independent businesses. They are not employees of Powertekpressurewash Floor Coating. The one you talk to is the one who will price and plan your job.

What the Provider May Ask

Say the provider calls you back. Expect a few plain questions.

• What is the space? A garage, a basement, a porch, or something else?
• How old is the house and the slab?
• Do you see cracks, stains, flaking, or damp spots?
• Has the floor been patched, sealed, or painted before?
• Roughly how large is the area?

Photos can help. Old repairs and past coatings change the prep work, so share what you know.

Questions to Put to a Provider

You are allowed to ask questions too. Here are a few worth keeping handy.

• How will you prepare the concrete, and what happens if you find moisture or old patches?
• Which coating do you suggest for my floor, and why?
• What does the written estimate include and leave out?
• How long before I can walk on it and park on it?
• What do you do if something unexpected turns up?
• Do you carry the license and insurance this area requires?

The Decision Is Yours

Say you get two estimates and they look different. One may include more prep. Another may suggest a different coating. That is normal. Compare the details, not just the totals. Take your time. Compare, then decide. You are under no obligation to hire anyone.
